I have plenty of time so I do this..

Despite of my "business", i'm going to learn a new language! I am so excited. Well, i just learned the basic stuffs. I'm not into like speaking with the native speakers, i'm not there yet. But i hope i can get to that level.

You must be wondering what language that i'm going to learn, right? Well...it is Chinese Mandarin! I've just thought about learning the language today! I think i'm gonna skip the writing part because yeah you all know, Chinese characters are so hard to write & follow. So i'll just focus on speaking and reading in Chinese first. I just learned all the 5 tones (including the neutral tone) through some searches on Google and some YouTube videos few hours ago. I look excited, right? Yeah, i am! Haha!

But before that, i would like to story a bit laaa how come, when & why i want to learn this language. First of all, i'm not a linguist. But i like to berangan la macam i can talk different languages. Isn't it cool if i can speak in Tamil, Chinese, French, Arabic & etc? Looks cool right? I think about the "coolness" to myself. Moreover, i want to be friends with the Chinese. I never had Chinese friends before. Never had the feeling to be friends with them. When i go out and i see a bunch of malay & chinese talk together, i always thought of how is it feels like when you talk with them, when you joke around with them, when you working together & etc. All these questions keep running in my mind. Btw, i'm interested to know more about their culture in Malaysia, their family and many more. Most of them do business and their business keep getting profits even if its already 20-50 years. So, i want to get to know these peoples about what keeps them getting success, what keeps them positive and also how they keep discipline to get to the highest level in business. Macam begitu sekali kan? Haha. Well, i like inspired peoples. I hope they can inspire me.

So, back to my searches on Google just now. I searched on wikihow. They give me steps and rules to learn this language. First, beginners have to learn the basic things like the pronunciations. Mostly focus on the pronunciations of the alphabets or words. But most important is, you have to know the tones perfectly. I'm going to list it here below, tapi peringatan.........aku akan mix some malay & english to explain using my own words so embrace yourself!

Chinese mandarin have 5 different tones. 

1. The first tone is a high & flat pitch. 

When you pronounce the words, you have to use the highest tone and you have to make it flat. So, for the writing e.g. is mā

      2. The second tone is a rising tone

Contoh macam word "WHAT?" Sebut dengan nada terkejut. So you can hear the tone is rising from the lower to higher voice. That is the 2nd tone. The writing e.g. is má

      3.  The third tone is a dipping tone ( idk what dipping means lol )

Yang ni berlaku at the medium of your voice that is between your highest & lowest voice, and then....it gets down to your lower voice. Dapat tangkap dak? Which means, from medium to lower voice. Gittew. The writing e.g. is mǎ

      4.  The fourth tone is a falling tone

This one sama sikit dengan the 3rd tapi......dia progressively lower. From medium to progressively lower. The writing e.g. is mà

      5. The fifth tone is a neutral tone

Ok yang ni paling simple. Neutral tone is a short & flat and start at the medium voice. Macam sebut perkataan takde harakat. The writing e.g. is ma

Review: Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser.

Lama lak rasanya abaikan blog ni. Kahkah. Ok tetiba nak buat review sikit pasal cleanser yang pastinya ramai yang kulit berminyak suka cleanser ni. I kulit berminyak and I love this cleanser!! Sebelum I pakai cleanser Neutrogena, I pakai yang Nano White Fresh foam cleanser. Since I have oily skin, I want a cleanser yang berbuih banyak sebab dia rasa puas hati tau bila kita cuci muka tu takda rasa berminyak. Cuma yang cons ialah dia akan rasa sedikit tegang pada kulit dan minyak akan keluar dengan cepat. Cleanser yang foamy ada SLS. Apa tu? Ha SLS ialah Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. SLS ni lah yang menyebabkan terjadinya cleanser tu berbuih. Orang yang kulit kering biasanya akan avoid this ingredient sebab dia akan mengeringkan kulit. 

Masa I pakai cleanser Nano White Fresh tu I ada moisturizer dia sekali. So tiap kali kalau rasa kering lepas cuci muka I apply moisturizer terus. Tapi sekarang moisturizer dia habis, and I ada benda lain yang wajib beli daripada moisturizer ni so I rasa nak skip moisturizer. Tapi orang lain jangan la rasa macam senang-senang je nak skip moisturizer jugak. Nak skip boleh, tapi kena tahu kulit muka kita macam mana. I lepas pakai Neutrogena, I rasa better je tak pakai moisturizer. Tapi masa pakai Nano White Fresh, I wajib pakai moisturizer. 

Ok kita terus kepada my honest review. Sebelum tu meh kita baca sedikit label/instructions/ingredients yang ada pada produk ni. Jommmmmmm.

Sebelum tu nak cerita macam mana boleh terfikir nak beli cleanser brand ni? Ok memula I tak tau pun brand Neutrogena ni sesuai untuk oily skin dan ramai oily skin yang suka. Actually i was looking for a cleanser that contains Salicylic Acid. I kat Guardian masa tu tengah godek-godek produk yang ada Salicylic Acid. SA ni sesuai untuk orang yang kulit berminyak, acne-prone, orang yang ada whitehead/blackhead. So masa kat guardian tu I perasan brand Himalaya yang Neem Face Wash kalau tak silap, pun ada SA. Tapi hati tergerak nak beli Neutrogena dan nak keluar daripada guardian cepat sebab lama sangat lepak dalam tu lol. Harga tak ingat.

Ni baru nak cerita review dia! Macam I cakap tadi, bila I pakai Neutrogena ni I skip moisturizer. Sebab dia tak rasa kering langsung. Cleanser ni deep clean kot, nak-nak pulak I cuci guna berus pobling. Tau tak pobling? Yang femes dulu tu kat ig. Ha pakai berus tu, lagi la deep clean kan. Pastu lagi satu, kedudukan SLS dalam ingredients adalah yang kedua, bermakna bahan tu kedua paling tinggi. So I syak mesti banyak buih dia and pasti kering. But nope! Series tak kering. Hari-hari i pakai pobling memang tak kering. Tu yang tiba-tiba i terpikir nak skip moisturizer. Sebab dia rasa moist kat kulit. Kalau nak cerita pasal pori-pori, tak ada perubahan apa-apa. I percaya yang peranan cleanser cuma nak membersih/mencuci je so i tak berharap pun pasal pori-pori. Kalau jerawat, yap dia surut. Sebab cleanser ni dia deep clean kan so kotoran tu dah hilang and jerawat surut sedikit demi sedikit. Dulu i tak cuci muka satu hari sebab tak ada masa. Bangun pagi je ada jerawat kecik-kecik macam pori-pori tersumbat. Agaknya minyak dah tersumbat dalam pori. I guna cleanser ni, sekali dengan clay mask, tepek madu, dah okay. Dah hilang. Oh ya, i kadang-kadang tepek madu pada muka sebagai moisturizer. Maksudnya i takda la tak pakai moisturizer langsung. Haha. 

Dia punya tekstur cecair macam gel. Berbuih tu ya tapi tak banyak. Bagi i tak banyak la. Bau wangi and warna cecair tu oren. Satu pump dah cukup nak bersihkan seluruh wajah. Dia boleh bertahan dalam 5/6 bulan depends pada kekerapan anda menggunakannya. So i finally found a cleanser yang sesuai! Yeayyyy. Lepas ni memang repeat yang ni je. Kalau cleanser i jenis pemalas nak mencuba produk tu produk ni. So just stick to Neutrogena. Lain lah moisturizer, i suka tukar-tukar. Alrite dats all from meh! Chaw!

Review: Nature Republic Aloe Vera

Hello guys. Yap for the first time, baru nak buat review. So sorry for taking a lot of time to post. Okay so now, I'm going to review a Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92%. I know some of you already know the benefits of the product. But I think I wanna share my experience using this product. And yup keep on reading!

I never tried or bought this product before. This was my sisters'. So, I think I just want to use a lil bit for me. At first, yeah it feels normal & nothing after I applied the gel on my skin. But I was surprised after I use it on my dry skin around my neck. It really works! My dry skin is getting better. 

Let me tell you the story the day I got dry patches around my neck. I was in my college that day. Dan......air paip di kolej sangat kotor. Macam air berkarat. It was normal for me. Biasalah duduk di Selangor memang selalu mengalami ketiadaan air or worse, air kotor. Kami, students, memang tak tau akan berlaku air kotor pada hari tersebut. Bangun-bangun je nak mandi, air berkarat. But we just took a shower despite of the dirty water. One of my housemates said she had dry patches on her face and she claimed that it was from the dirty water. But then, I realized I had dry patches too around my neck the next day. Banyak sangat. Merah-merah, bersisik, kering.....semuanya sebab air kotor tu. Tapi kat muka tak kena dry patches. Just around my neck. So masa tu baru tahu, kalau I allergic dengan benda-benda kotor, usually my neck will get dry patches or pimples. Muka jarang.

So I pun letak lah ubat sapu from Shaklee if I'm not mistaken, and let it do their work but it doesn't work at all. Then my housemate gave me her some kind of oil, argan oil if I'm not mistaken. It didn't work too. Pastu, I pun baliklah rumah for the weekend. At home, I saw this NR Aloe Vera in my fridge and I think I would like to try it. It worked like magic! Merah-merah macam dalam gambar tu dah takde! Kering bersisik dah hilang! Fuuhh. I was very happy it finally worked. 

Mula-mula I sapu gel tu around my problematic area at night then I went to bed. Dia dah getting better the next day. So I nampak positive reaction di situ, I kept applying the gel at night before I went to bed. In 2 days dah elok! My dry patches back to normal. Since then, I looooove this product. This is my holy grail.

Not only that. It really works to get rid of zits. Everytime there are new zits, I applied the gel on top of it. 

Look how my zits & scars faded. But my scars didn't fully faded. It takes time and depends on how frequent you apply the gel. Instead you can use any ubat jerawat or bio oil ke untuk parut fully faded. OK? Aloe vera ni membantu keringkan & kecutkan jerawat. Kalau untuk parut, for the first week dia dah start faded. Tapi dia tidak hilang sepenuhnya. So that's why I sarankan pakai macam bio oil terus.

Lagi apa ya benefits aloe vera ni? Ok lagi satu nak bagitahu. Last month, I had small cuts on my finger. It happens when I did my house chores. Tak silap I tengah bersihkan tandas rumah hahaha. Setel bersihkan toilet, I straight to the sink to wash the dishes. Tiba-tiba rasa macam pedih, sengat kat jari pehal tah. Bila godek-godek, terluka rupanya. Tak perasan lah kalau terkena benda tajam ke apa. And it was on my right hand. 

Then I put the aloe vera gel on top of it and let it be. Tapi untuk lebih berkesan, letak gel before going to bed. So that the gel can do their work while in a sleep. 

Dalam beberapa hari, luka semakin kering dan dia menggelupas sikit. Rupa dia sangat tak cantik masa ni sebab kulit sedang menggelupas. It looks dry. 

In a few days, you will get your own skin back. Just keep on applying the gel. Gebu gebas kulit kauuu. Kahkah

So that's it about my review on NR Aloe Vera 92%. Banyak sangat benda kita boleh buat dengan benda ni. You can use this product as your daily moisturizer. The texture of the gel is water based and it has matte finish after you apply it on the skin. And one thing you must know, you can use this product as your tinted moisturizer. Hari tu, I mixed the gel with my concealer. Make sure nisbah gel tu tak lebih, nanti terlalu dewy/moist. 

My advice is put the gel on a fridge. Bila nak taruk kat muka, sejuuk je rasa fresh. Dan of course, beli yang original from Nature Republic store. Kalau takde yang NR ni, The Face Shop pun ada. It's just, I never tried the gel from Face Shop. So I don't know whether it works the same as NR.

Ice cube tomato mask.

Macam biasa lah waktu2 begini sebelum tidur, memang wajib aku pakai masker. Sekarang ni aku tengah pakai masker epal. Baru je dalam minggu ni pakai. Baru 4 hari je. Jadi, result dia aku tak boleh nak gempak sangat la. Haha.

Kita cerita tentang masker tomato yang sebelum ni aku pakai. Dalam 2 ke 3 minggu jugak la pakai. Hasilnya memang cenggini 👍👍

Masker semula jadi camni aku langsung tak pernah buat. Sebab takde masa satu, dan bahan2 nya pun takde. Hati ni tergerak nak mencoba selepas aku balik dari Melaka ada family day hari tu. Mostly perempuan mengalami sunburn kat muka lagi2 kalo sunburn tu untuk perempuan yang bertudung, ada belang dan sunburn tu ikut bentuk tudung kat dahi. Macam tu lah yang aku alami kat Melaka tu. 😝

Jadi, lepas balik dari Melaka aku teringin nak buat masker tomato. Kita cuma perlukan 2 buah tomato yang dah masak sahaja. Senang untuk orang malas cam aku wuuu 👏

Langkah2 nya:
🔹 Potong kecil kedua² buah tomato. (Sebab senang nak blend)
🔹 Blend sampai halus. (Jangan tambah air sebab tomato itu sendiri akan keluarkan jusnya ketika blend)
🔹 Agak² dah halus, sediakan bekas ais kiub dan tuanglah dalam bekas tuu.
🔹 Simpan bekas ais dalam peti ais.

Cara penggunaan:
🔹 Basuh muka dulu dengan cleanser. Bagi dia basuh bersih² dari dalam dan pori² terbuka.
🔹 Ais yang terlalu sejuk kadang² tak elok untuk kulit. Jadi sebelum sapu dekat kulit, jangan terus sapu ais yang baru keluarkan dari peti ais ke muka.
🔹 Keluarkan seketoi ais kiub daripada peti ais dan masukkan dalam mangkuk pastu biarkan beberapa minit. Biar dia duk dalam room temperature la.
🔹 Agak² dia sudeh sejuk sikit then dia macam mencair sedikit, baru lah boleh sapu pada muka.
🔹 Kalau aku, aku tak menggosok ais tu terus ke kulit sebab ais kiub tu kan kasar.
🔹 Jadi, aku cair² kan siki kat jari pastu sapukan kat kulit. Begituuuuu. Sayangilah kulit andaa.

Maaf lah aku takde gambar hehe. Ok! Nak cerita tentang hasil selepas 2 minggu aku buat ais kiub tomato. Aku tengok perbezaan sebelum dan selepas memang ketara sunburn aku dah semakin hilang! (Tapi tak hilang semua. Kalau nak sepenuhnya hilang, pakai lah sampai sebulan lebih) 😱

Uihhh rasa best sangat lah pakai sesuatu kat muka yang kita boleh nampak perubahan & perbezaan dia. Aku ada peghati jugak jerawat semua kecut penakuitt. Haha.

Jadi, kurang² kan lah beli mask mahal² di Watsons atau Guardian. Marilah kita cantik untuk jangka masa yang lama. Bukan cantik sekejap² tau. Biar lambat hasilnya asalkan puas hati dan suci. Selamat malam.
